Benic Enterprises, proud of success at 2011 Chili Bowl
Tulsa, OK: The 2011 Chili Bowl Midget Nationals is in the books, and Benic Shocks had a mostly favorable outcome, with 60% Benic Shocks making it to the A feature.
On Tuesday night, Avon Indiana’s Brad Kuhn drove his RW Motorsports/Fontana/Beast entry to a 5th place finish on Integra By Benic Small Body Base Valve Adjustable Shocks. Kuhn started the night with a dominating heat race win, and a sold run in his qualifier. Kuhn finished his week by winning the Saturday night B-Main, and charging through the field to come home with a very strong 6th place finish in the Main Event.
On Wednesday night, Scotty Weir drove the Benic family owned, 2b Racing, Champion Brands entry to an 11th place finish on AFCO By Benic Small Body Adjustable 16 Series Shocks. Weir began his 2011 Chili bowl with an impressive performance winning his heat race on cruise control. On Saturday night the driver from Marion, Indiana capped off his week with a C-Main win. Weir battled a tight race car and a very tough field, ending his night in the B.
On Thursday night, Jerry Coons Jr in the Glenn Styres owne Fontana/Beast/Ohsweken Speedway entry, raced to the podium coming home in 2nd, locking him into the 25th annual Chili Bowl Midget Nationals on AFCO By Benic Small Body Adjustable 16 Series Shocks. The Tucson native began his week by winning his heat race, and finishing 2nd in his qualifier. On Saturday Coons raced around the top 5 the entire race before finally getting tangled up with a car that had spun coming off of turn 4. Jerry went to the tail and charged back to an 11th place finish.
On Friday night, “The Throttle” Shane Cottle and the Daryl Saucier, DSR Fuel Systems entry put on a dominating performance winning the A-Main on AFCO By Benic Small Body Non-Adjustable 16 Series Shocks. Cottle kicked off his Chili Bowl by winning his heat, and running 2nd in his qualifier. Shane had a fast race car until a mechanical failure forced him to retire from the event, ending his night with a 21st place finish in the A-main.
Benic Enterprises would like to thank Benic Shock clients for their loyalty, as well as congratulate them on their solid runs at the 2011 Chili Bowl.

Craig Dollansky: A Man On A Mission
Craig Dollansky started off 2011 with a solid 2nd
place run at the Dirt Car Nationals opener. The Big Game
Maxim turned the
19th fastest lap
qualifying at a
14.011. The guys
made some changes
and won the heat in
dominating fashion
by nearly a 6 second
margin. Dollansky
started the feature in
the 17th position. “The Crowd Pleaser” was living up to his name
charging to 4th with 8 laps remaining. By the end of the race Dollansky had made his way to 2nd and ran out of laps as he was reeling in the leader, and teammate Sammy Swindell.
Congratulations to the Dollansky team on the impressive performance they put on earning the Hard Charger award!

THE “CALIFORNIA KID” MAKES HISTORY!!
The “California Kid” Tyler Reddick made
history from his 3rd starting position
after taking the lead from Dan
Schlieper on lap 22 of the 30 lap,
Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt

The “Crowd Pleaser” Cashes In On The Benic Advantage
Last year at the Tri-State
Speedway in Haubstadt
Indiana, Craig Dollansky
was looking for that extra
something to push him to
the next level. He decided
that putting Integra by
Benic racing shocks on all
four corners of his Big Game Tree Stands, Maxim could be the
catalyst that he needed. Dollansky began his night by setting
quick time, then transferred through his heat race and had a
solid 4th place run in the dash. In the feature he took the lead
from Donny Schatz on lap 22 and never looked back.
The Crowd Pleaser looks to continue his winning ways in 2011 as
he teams up with the Benic Shock team once again as he will be
running Integra by Benic racing shocks! We look forward to
watching the continued success from the Dollansky team as they
attempt to capture the coveted World of Outlaws championship.
